Resulfurization in the molten steel can change the form of the sulfide inclusions , and improve machinability. When it is used for the production of sulphuretted free-cutting steel and sulphuretted stainless steel, the recovery rate of sulfur is up to 80 % , and almost does not release toxic SO2.
